Many trucking executives feel like they don’t have control over their insurance costs. Even when they perform well, the insurance company demands a rate increase.
A year ago, we began our mission to determine how prevalent this state of insurance dependency is – and why some companies are unable to break-free.
We interviewed and surveyed transportation executives from companies across the midwestern United States. And we used data from the DOT, ATRI, and 24,000 accidents that our clients were involved in between 2010 and 2016.
THIS IS WHAT WE FOUND…
Most trucking companies were unaware of their dependency on insurance – and to what degree it was impacting their culture and bottom line.
